Ebenezer AME Church
Palmetto Craftsmen contributed significantly to the preservation and renovation of Ebenezer AME Church on Nassau Street, a historic landmark in Charleston, SC.
The project included the meticulous removal and restoration of the church’s stained glass windows, addressing termite damage, and replacing damaged siding.
They restructured and refinished the double entryway doors, ensuring the integrity and grandeur of the church’s primary access points. Additionally, the team performed vital floor joist framing repairs, installed new trim, and completed drywall and painting throughout the building.
A highlight of the renovation was the restoration of the steeple, a key architectural feature, ensuring its continued prominence in the Charleston skyline. These efforts revitalized the church while honoring its historic significance.
