King Street House Restoration

Dedication to maintaining the legacy of Charleston’s historic architecture while revitalizing the space for modern needs.

Featured in Charleston Home & Design.

Situated in one of the city’s most prestigious locations, this home renovation focused on updating the interior to enhance both functionality and style while preserving its classic architectural details. Our team carefully restored the original woodwork, moldings, and brick features, blending them seamlessly with modern upgrades. The project included a complete overhaul of the kitchen and bathrooms, creating sophisticated, functional spaces that complement the home’s historic charm.

In addition to these updates, we addressed structural repairs by replacing water-damaged sheetrock in the hallway ceiling due to a roof leak, ensuring the integrity of the home’s framework.

The cause of the leak was identified and repaired, preventing future issues. We also restored a water-damaged window in the bathroom, preserving both its functionality and aesthetic appeal.

With thoughtful attention to detail, we improved the home’s flow, added energy-efficient systems, and created inviting living spaces that maintain the timeless beauty of Charleston’s architecture. The result is a home that perfectly balances the old and the new, offering both comfort and heritage in the heart of the city.
