A Charleston Battery Home Renovation

Palmetto Craftsmen completed a full interior renovation of a historic residence on Charleston’s Battery. The work brought custom kitchens, restored millwork, and refined finishes to a home on one of the peninsula’s most storied waterfront streets.

Set along the harbor on the Battery, the home pairs classic Charleston architecture with rooms made for everyday living. The project reached the spaces that matter most: the kitchens, the formal living and dining rooms, the stair hall, and the fine millwork that ties them together. Each was handled with careful attention to proportion, materials, and natural light.

Honed soapstone and marble in the kitchens, a wrought-iron staircase, carved detailing throughout — the home’s materials and craftsmanship come together with care.
