4 Lamboll Street
Located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district, this Lamboll Street home is a beautiful example of timeless
Lowcountry architecture. Palmetto Craftsmen was honored to lead this historic home renovation, transforming key areas while preserving the charm and craftsmanship that define downtown Charleston homes.
The kitchen renovation included custom cabinetry, a marble-topped island with integrated appliances, and a herringbone tile backsplash. We refinished the original heart pine floors and removed outdated structures to improve the natural light and flow—blending historic design with modern functionality.
In the bathroom, we preserved the clawfoot tub and updated the space with a frameless glass shower, marble tile, and classic fixtures. The result is a luxurious, light-filled retreat that respects the home’s original character while offering modern comfort.
Exterior updates focused on preserving the historic façade, relocating storm windows, restoring shutters, and maintaining traditional stucco details. This full-home renovation is a testament to Palmetto Craftsmen’s expertise in Charleston historic home remodeling and restoration.
