Tricia Milner

With a dynamic career spanning real estate development, high-rise construction, and historic preservation, Tricia Milner brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as Project Manager at Palmetto Craftsmen.

Tricia’s journey into construction and project management began early in her career while working for a venture capital firm in Charlotte, NC, that invested in real estate development. Her interest in the industry deepened as she worked with a local developer before moving to San Francisco, where she gained invaluable experience working on high-rise projects with both contractors and developers. After taking a year off to travel the world, she returned to Charleston to put down roots, start a family, and continue her career in construction.

Over the years, Tricia has worked on a variety of projects, from building new homes on Kiawah Island to launching her own consulting firm, where she helped builders streamline project management. After taking time off to raise her children and teach yoga in schools for eight years, she re-entered the construction and renovation industry in downtown Charleston, where she has been involved in numerous historic preservation projects.

Tricia finds deep fulfillment in working closely with homeowners, helping them design and transform their living spaces in a way that enhances both function and joy. She thrives in the fast-paced nature of construction, where each day presents unique challenges and opportunities to coordinate people, materials, and solutions efficiently.

One of the most meaningful aspects of her work is preserving the architectural integrity of Charleston’s historic homes. She has particularly enjoyed projects in the South of Broad neighborhood, where she has had the opportunity to safeguard the city’s history while personalizing spaces for homeowners. Her problem-solving approach is rooted in communication, collaboration, and a calm, hands-on presence in the field to ensure projects stay on track.

Outside of work, Tricia is an adventurer at heart. She loves traveling with her two children, spending time on the water, and embracing an active lifestyle through yoga and movement, which she believes is key to maintaining balance in both life and work.
